As one of the first employees of our new joint entity, you will be joining more than 100 colleagues working to amplify the voice of the underheard through mobile technology. You will be asked to problem-solve on a daily basis, work to develop yourself and those around you, and help shape a young, ambitious company that is powering a global movement.
About the Role
The Madagascar Programs team designs and implements exciting high-impact mobile engagement projects with donors, NGOs and private companies. You’ll work under the supervision of the Country Manager and will be responsible for developing, managing and completing multiple small and complex projects at a time in a fast-paced and demanding environment. You’ll work with the team and independently to assure your projects are on track and our clients are satisfied.
- Project management: Implement and manage projects for our clients within budget and defined timelines and with a focus on client satisfaction (70%)
- Opportunities identification: Proactively detect new opportunities within existing projects, and with active clients (20%)
- Knowledge management: Sharing, archiving and capitalizing information within the organization and with clients (10%)
Skills and Experience Required
- University degree, 2-5 years of demanding professional experience in a client-facing role, and demonstrable interest in the use of technology for development
- Proven experience in multi-tasking and managing numerous complex small and large projects at one time
- Experience in working with project management software
- Fluency in English, French, and Malagasy
- Ability to manage multiple projects with proactive ideas, and achieve client satisfaction
- Motivated and highly-responsive communicator with a passion for proactive client satisfaction
- Creative problem-solver with a genuine interest in finding innovative solutions within tight budgets and deadlines
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for turning complex client objectives and challenges into business opportunities
